Canada Emergency Student Benefit

Canada Emergency Student Benefit (CESB)

As of May 15th, students are able to apply for the Canada Emergency Student Benefit. The CESB provides financial support to post-secondary students and high school graduates who have lost the opportunity to find work due to COVID-19.

This benefit is for students who DO NOT qualify for CERB or EI.

Students receive:

$1,250
For each 4-week period

or

$2,000
For each 4-week period, if you have dependants or a disability

At this time, international students do not qualify for CESB. International students from the University of Windsor can apply for emergency funding here: COVID-19 Student Relief Fund.
