GSS U-Pass is a service that allows student members to have unlimited rides on the regular Transit Windsor city service during the school year.
The U-Pass is negotiated with Transit Windsor by all three campus student unions — GSS, OPUS and UWSA.
How does it work?
All students are automatically enrolled for the Fall and Winter semesters unless they opt out (subject to opt-out conditions).
Students who have not opted out must activate the Umo mobile app before they can benefit from the U-Pass.
Using the app is simple: students scan their QR code on the reader when boarding the bus.
There is no physical card pick-up — the U-Pass is fully digital.
The U-Pass is non-transferable. It may only be used by the student it is issued to.
Your Umo account can only be used on one (1) device. If you have more than one personal device, the app can only be used on one of them — even if all the devices are your own. If the account is used on more than one device, the account will be locked and a re-issue fee will be charged at a cost of 158.24$.
