NOW LIVE! Green Shield Canada brings plan members free online doctor visits to navigate the winter months
Green Shield Canada (GSC) has teamed up with Maple, Canada’s leading telemedicine provider, to provide free virtual care for all GSC Group plan members and their eligible dependents this winter. Great news – this access is now live!
What’s included?
Access kicked off on December 1, and GSC plan members and their eligible dependents can access Maple at no cost for a minimum three-month period to:
- Connect directly with a Canadian-licensed physician online within minutes via instant message, video, or audio call
- Receive medical advice, prescriptions, lab requisitions, and more
- Consult with a physician up to four times per family
These services are available seven days a week between 7 a.m. and midnight local time in all provinces and territories, in both English and French.
This GSC investment (i.e., no cost to plan members or plan sponsors) represents a continued commitment to making widespread access to health care a top priority. The duration of the free access period varies by funding method – your account team can provide additional information.
