This summer, the University of Windsor will be offering a two-month course in introductory Mandarin! If you are preparing to travel to Mandarin-speaking countries, or looking to broaden your social circle, Mandarin 101 is an excellent place to start learning common greetings, everyday phrases, and traditional customs. The course will serve as an introduction to Mandarin Chinese, and will focus on:
- Introductions and greetings
- Common questions and numbers
- Basic sentence structure
- Basic pronunciation
- Calligraphy
- Overview of celebrations and customs
