Service Overview

GSS offers students the International Student Identity Card (ISIC) card, the only internationally-recognised student ID, making  cardholders members of a truly global club. Every year more than 4.5 million students from 130 countries use their ISIC to take advantage of offers on travel, museums, hostels, hotels, historical sites and entertainment attractions.

In Canada, students save money through national discounts on flights and bus tickets, at major department stores, at sports events and more. Students can also use the ISIC card for discounts at local small businesses around their campuses.

Eligibility

All active GSS members are eligible to obtain their ISIC card. If you have paid your CFS fee, then you are eligible to obtain a ISIC card.

Cost

The first card is offered to GSS members without cost, as the cost for a first card is assessed and collected with student fees.

As we move from physical cards to virtual cards, replacement cards due to loss or theft may incur replacement fees. The GSS Office will no longer offer this service for physical cards as ask UWindsor student members to please activate their free virtual card as a replacement.
