Steps to Download App

* Please note you must be in Canada when downloading the app.
  1. Open play store and search for Umo mobility
  2. Download UMO app
  3. Enable 'Location Services' and tap continue to proceed
  4. Enable notifications and tap continue to' proceed
  5. Choose your country - select Canada from the list
  6. Select 'Transit Windsor - Under Ontario you will select "Transit Windsor" as primary transit agency
  7. Create your account - tap "set-up now" to begin
  8. Enter your UWINDSOR EMAIL and follow directions on screen

Step to Redeeming your U-Pass Code

  1. On the main screen tap on "my wallet"
  2. Tap Redeem Benefit Code to enter the unique code sent by GSS
  3. Enter the 8 character benefit code exactly how it appears in the email you received. The code will start with WIN indicating Transit Windsor
    • If the prefix is not WIN please tap change agency and select Transit Windsor
  4. Once code is submitted hit redeem code. If successful you will see a confirmation screen.

How to use your Digital U-Pass

  1. Open the Ump app
  2. Tap on the code tab at the bottom of the screen
  3. Show your QR code to the reader on the bus
UMO will automatically use the pass from your wallet and the app will confirm when the fare is validated.
