The Fall 2026 opt-in period begins 2026-09-01 and closes 2026-10-05. Full instructions will be posted here during the last week of August 2026.
Eligibility: Graduate students who are registered in the Fall 2026 semester and have not been charged the U-Pass fee on their student statement.
Costs are published on the Deadlines, Periods and Costs page. Opting in is done online only — the U-Pass is fully digital, with no card pick-up.
Protect your code: your U-Pass benefit code is emailed to you by the GSS. Enter it in the Umo app on the one device you will use all year. Do not enter it on a second device — the account will be locked and a re-issue fee will be charged.
